Adelante Radio – $4,000

Broadcast Equipment
This project will support the transmission of education and biblical content over the FCC-authorized radio frequency 88.5FM from Carol Stream, IL. This community has a population comprised of at least 16.5% Spanish-speaking of the 39,000 inhabitants. Located in the western suburbs of Chicago the catchment area of the radio signal will cover over a million people in the urban/suburban area. Adelante Community Health Center located in Berwyn IL, is 61% Hispanic and located less than 25 miles from Carol Stream. The lack of health literacy of our covered population, particularly Hispanic, Southeast Asian and other minorities make this radio outreach a priority.

AMEN Clinic – $ 5,000

Detroit Event
This ministry offers free mobile multi-specialty medical, surgical, vision, dental care, and other critical services at no cost. Detroit Northwest SDA church teamed up with AMEN (A Medical Evangelism Network), and the Lake Regional SDA churches in the city of Detroit to host an AMEN free clinic for the community. The funds for this project will help underwrite the expenses of the over 200 persons who attended the clinic designed to meet the health needs and provide services that are unavailable or financially affordable. ASAP – $5,000

Refugees Evangelism Milwaukee
ASAP seeks to seize the opportunity to reach refugees when they are most open. Ethnic missionaries know the language and culture because it is their heart language. ASAP sees great value in making it possible for these missionaries, like Mr. Aung Tun, to impact Buddhists and other Karen in his Milwaukee community where he has helped launch an Adventist group. This project supports Mr. Aung Tun to continue outreach, giving Bible studies and teaching people about the Gospel. ASAP joined ASI in 1995. Visit www.asapministries.org for more information.

Farm STEW – $3,000

Zambia Outreach
FARM STEW has partnered with Wilderness Gate in Zambia to bring the message of abundant life to mostly rural areas in five provinces. Although the situations vary slightly, the problems of hunger, disease and poverty run through each community. There is a serious hunger problem in the country. Poor sanitation, lack of safe, clean water, ignorance, superstition, and social ills worsen the situation. This project will assist FARM STEW local Christian trainers teach practical skills through hands-on activities, breaking the cycle of hunger, disease, and poverty. LFJ OUTREACH MINISTRIES – $5,000

Guyana Missionaries
LJF (Living for Jesus) supports missionaries in Guyana to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Current missionaries are extremely busy in the area and are not able to serve further upriver. Just before Christmas 2023, LFJ went to Guyana and held a VBS and evangelistic series for adults. There were almost 150 children in attendance! With additional funding, LFJ will be able to send more missionaries to nurture those who have a desire to attend church and provide continuity having persons there to give Bible studies and provide community outreach.
